2024 Chardonnay, Grower Series
Our 2024 Chardonnay was crafted at our winery in Okanagan Falls, BC from grapes grown in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA in Washington State.
In the winery we strive to make an elegant and fresh summertime style Chardonnay. We inoculated the wine with a classic Burgundian yeast and allowed primary fermentation in stainless steel. The fermentation temperature was maintained between 16-20 C.
Once fermentation was complete, 50% of the wine was racked into stainless steel and malolactic fermentation was blocked. The remaining 50% of the wine was racked into a combination of new and neutral French oak, which went through malolactic fermentation.
The wine was lightly fined and filtered as we prepared for bottling on March 25, 2025.
