Our Black Label series is reserved for wines of exceptional quality.  The combination of a warm growing season and a small crop has resulted in our 2023 Syrah being an intense and age worthy wine. The grapes were hand-picked on Oct 18 and destemmed into an open-top tank.  Whole berry fermentation started with a Mediterranean yeast. The wine was aged in French Oak for 18 months.

This wine will benefit from another 3-5 years of bottle age.  Food pairing suggestions include Lamb Kofta (our favourite!), Merguez sausage, and grilled ribeye steak with crushed black pepper.

The previous vintages of this wine sold out quickly and were highly rated by wine critics:
