2024 Pinot Noir Cuvée, Grower Series
"...drift of floral lilac and cherry blossom with black earth on the nose. The flavours are delicate but persistent notes of mulberry, light marionberry and brandied cherries. The airy texture is the most striking thing here, a floating wave of flavour like spider silk, with delicate lacy fruit..." 91 Points Brent Gushowaty, BCPinotnoir.com Click here for full review
"...fragrant plum, perfumed strawberry, cherry blossoms floods the juicy palate, with long, fine knit tannins pinning in the sides to the baking spiced finish. One of the smarter Crafted in BC wines I've tasted..." 90 Points Treve Ring Gismondi on Wine. Click here for full review
We crafted the Growers Series Pinot Noir Cuvée at our winery in Okanagan Falls, BC from grapes grown in the Lake Chelan AVA in Washington. This vintage is a blend of four Pinot Noir Clones: Dijon 113, Dijon 115, Dijon 777 and University of California Davis (UCD) 13. It can be enjoyed on its own or paired with classic dishes such as mushroom risotto, duck confit or Coq Au Vin.
The grapes were picked between September 6-23. We destemmed whole berries into separate open top fermenters before inoculating with a classic Burgundian yeast. After an extended maceration, we pressed off into French Oak barrels (20% new) allowing the wine to complete malolactic fermentation and age for 10 months. The wine is unfined and gently filtered. We bottled it on August 26, 2025.
