2024 Syrah, Growers Series
"...a pleasant, moderated intensity here with rich syrah notes of licorice, light garrigue and restrained alcohol. The flavours lean more Rhone style than Australia. It shows very approachable licorice, dark plum, cassis and prune fruit flavours with a touch of pepper in the core..." 90 Points, Brent Gushowaty Click here for full review.
Our 2024 Syrah was crafted at our winery in Okanagan Falls, BC from grapes grown in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA in Washington State. The acid and tannin are elegantly balanced making this an enjoyable wine on its own or paired with a hearty meal such as cassoulet, all things lamb, or a slow-roast beef chuck.
The previous vintages of this wine sold out quickly and were highly rated by wine critics:
- 2019 Syrah, John Schreiner 93 points
- 2020 Syrah, Carl Boucher 92 Points
- 2021 Syrah, David Lawrason names CODE important new Canadian winery and declares the 2021 Syrah his favourite in the portfolio.
