The Clone Collection highlights clonal differences when farming practices, winemaking processes and terroir are identical. 

This wine is made from an unknown clone labelled Ancestor 01.  Organically farmed estate Pinot Noir, picked on October 6th, yielding 2.5 tons per acre. Destemmed, fermented and aged in 2nd fill French oak barrels.  Unfiltered and lightly fined with egg whites.

On the nose:  burgundy funk, forest floor, violet, acacia, dark cherry, vanilla, kirsch, and tomato leaves. On the palate: earthiness mixed with vivid cherry.
